ETGiRC Uses a VBScript as it's primary programming language. VBScript is actually a subset of one of the most used programming languages Visual Basic. If you are at all familiar with programming in classic VB, VBScript ASP Web Development, or any VBA enabled applications like MS Word, MS Excel, or many of the hundreds of other applications from Adobe, AutoDesk or others that use it, this should be an easy thing for you to pick-up!

If you've never programmed anything, don't fear, Basic is known for having the easiest learning curve of all languages. There are thousands of resources on the internet in addition to the resources you find here that will help you dive right in quickly.
